These [Martyr] ads are from Corporate Chattisgarh (CC), which is (self proclaimed) Central India’s Fastest Growing News Magazine. As of right now I can’t find much else on the ads, other than they were featured here. Unfortunately, their site is blocked for me, maybe when I’m off my current network I’ll be able to access it… but anyhow for this reason I have not posted a link to CC.
What reaction does your soul have upon viewing these provocative images and words?
I see both sides… in the book Martyrs Mirror, there is a ugliness that wears off on the reader. A repulsion that sticks in your craw that cannot be wiped clean with any of the Disney movies. It is the realization that people believe they are right in their thoughts about God… to the point of killing those that do not agree with their sentiments. Christians have done this, Muslims have done this, Hindu’s have done this… Man does this. It is not the nature of God or Allah to kill the innocent or the guilty. True love comes from embracing our enemy, feeding our adversary, and sacrificing our luxury so that our oppressor may see the love that surpasses tyranny.
Oh Lord! That we may be a nation filled with Christians, Muslims, and Hindus that love each other and put down the rod of provocation!
