bonfire

On Friday night we built a bonfire… a fire any father would be proud of. A base of kindling, then a pyramid of sticks, surrounded by a log cabin of hearty wood, enclosed by another pryamid of large branches. When we lit the base with a single match it took about 2 minutes for the fire to completely engulf the entire structure. Aggies eat your heart out.

We invited the entire class, and a group of 30+ showed up to roast weinies and make smores. Here are some notable quotes from the night:

“This is a purgatory of singleness.” – David (C-Flo’s friend)

“Should I throw this in the fire?” – Adam (in reference to a full butane lighter)

“Do catholics not eat with Christians during lent?”
- Anonymous (having to do with the 3 participants of lent, of which myself was included, who brought Long John Silvers for supper)

After the fire, we went to “Midnight Rodeo” a very Missouri country dance cllub, where we took turns leading the gals in two-stepping and twirls… twas a fun night.
