unsent letter…

Written by on July 27, 2006 in observations - No comments

This letter was written at an unspecified time, place and to an unspecified girl… it was never sent.

(girls name here),
If you take anything away from this note take it as a compliment, be flattered, and smile!

My Father once told me, “A girl is fair game until there is a ring on her finger…” Great advice from a father to a son, but hard to put into practice without coming across as seedy… or better yet – sleazy… especially with all these christians around…

So, I will leave this note where it began… as a compliment. You are an impressive woman, a woman that turns heads with your actions, words, and beauty. I may have forgotten which ladder I was on, but don’t worry… I’d rather be your friend then end up in the eternal abyss.

Truly,

Samuel A. Duregger

Sometimes you have to write things to clear your own head and heart. But passing those words on could end up only confusing someone else’s head and heart. You probably did the right thing by keeping it to yourself.

The abyss? Perhaps true, but ladder theory ignores one fact: women are susceptable to flattery no matter who gives it. Pursue a woman, with savvy, and you can change the course of history.

Possiblity, of course, does not equal wisdom.

I remember another letter you wrote at FCA camp several years ago … but you signed it “Kerri”.
