tobago…

Yesterday as noted I bought a plane ticket to Tobago, and today I made reservations at this beach resort (???) in Castara, a small fishing village on the Northern Coast of Tobago.  I question the resort tag, as it is $40 US a night and seems very small (only 5 rooms).  But we’ll see what happens… I have asked for an adventure and I think I will no doubt get one.  Below is a pic from the resort’s webpage (click on pic to go to page):

My hopes are to spend some time in solitude and silence (see Dallas Willard – The Great Omission), as well as some time to write and reflect on the past 3 years of Grad school.  You can pray for safety and some chances to talk about the message of Christ with some people (villagers or tourist’s).
