This story began on the mark-n-white board in the K-Colorado office, I wrote the first section and throughout the day others added their own twist to the tale. So here you go:
It was a dark cold morning, Amos had already fed the cattle and was fixing a water hydrant by the old barn. The brisk air made his hands feel like someone else’s and his nose had been numb for hours. All of a sudden… the hairs on the back of his neck stood up… and he thought himself to soon be a copper riveted fool having realized… that off in the distance his tired eyes must have saw… “Naw it couldn’t be.” He said to himself… But his eyes were not fooling him. What he saw before him on the horizon, not only struck paralyzing fear in him, but… caused him to let out a terrible cry of… chirping noises, for if he acted like a bird the enemy would back away, however… the enemy was deaf so he did not hear the bird chirp, instead he got down low and started to do the chicken dance, at which point Amos… finally and completely lost his mind. THE END.
Not too bad for the first corporate story at K-Colorado. More to come, I am sure.
