colorful colorado…

In Colorado now, working with the boys.  We are putting in an irrigation system around camp. This is the thrid year I have been here for “uncle week”, which is a week where men come to camp early and do manly things, like build things, blow up things, and work with our burly hands…  It is always a special time to catch up with a handful of guys that have been instrumental in my walk with Christ, always encouraging and a ton of laughs.

We are also getting close to the “Ironhorse” Bike race… 50 miles of pain from Durango to Silverton.  I have not ridden as much as I have wanted, which is foreshadowing for a rough ride… All I can do now is get in some hours on the saddle and hope for a quick acclimation to Colorado elevation.  Everytime I come here I am reminded of how special of a place this campground is:
