ironhorse.jpg 8 am.  Durango to Silverton.  50 miles.  One purpose. To finish. And to beat the train.

On a 57cm Bianchi Steel Frame Shafty.  It is going to be one heck of a ride.  There are seven of us riding this year, and the rest of camp will be in Silverton to meet us and then we will all gather for a big meal and picture at Andrews Lake.  To be honest I am a little nervous about the ride but it should be fun albeit very, very tough.  It has a total climb of 6,000 feet… which is unbelievable!  Hopefully I will have pics to share post race, which will be me standing happily with the other riders.  Pray for me, here is the latest weather forecast for Silverton (the ending point).
