10.10.11 // The Battle Jericho; words by Sam DuRegger and music by Charlie Koopman — Performed at Third Church in Pella, Iowa — This is a short re-telling of the events leading up to the Battle of Jericho, in a beatnik free form storytelling kinda way. This was a fun way to creatively tell multiple chapters of the Bible (from multiple Books). Starting with the Lord’s displeasure with his people, to banishment to the desert, to Moses’ death and Joshua’s anointing as the leader of the people.
