6.17.11 // The Last Temptation of Chris by Marcus Markou — A more artistic piece and a little longer, this short film deals with love and the boundaries of social norms. The main character has a quote at the end that is sticking with me, “yeah, I have scars, that’s what makes me so good.” His disposition makes me wonder… Are we better because of our experiences, even the difficult ones? Or are some scars just scabs that we pick at, knowing the right behavior but ignoring it, thus creating scars where healing could have happened.
