9.17.10 // The Diary of a Disappointed Book by Studiocanoe — this short film asks the question, what happens to a book in the matter of 12 months. Though I wish the ending where different (spoiler alert: it should have ended with the book going to a used book store and someone else picking it up to read). The landscape shots are beautiful, and I really liked the characters, the grandpa/dad is one charming beard. If you like books, there’s a good chance this film will remind you of a few of your own experiences.
