Monday Morning Update:
The last two months have been busy. I can’t attribute my assiduousness to any one thing, rather it has to do with a combination of new transitions, ie: being a newlywed, new business start-up, full-time contracting work and a handful of May/June weddings… In light of this, I’m pretty sure June will just fly on by.
Some exciting things on my schedule for this month:
- I’m officiating my cousins wedding in Santa Cruz, CA on June 12. I don’t know what I’m more excited about, being apart of her wedding or the possibility of surfing… We’ll call it a draw.
- My company Samwell Creative is launching a website for Koopman Roofing and Insulation – around June 15th-ish!! I’m kinda excited about this site as I brought my videographer, @b_hill from EchoLite Media to do some of the video work for the new site. Should be sexy… well, as sexy as roofing and insulation can be, that is.
- On the financial front, I’ll be paying off my small business loan for Samwell Creative, it’s always exciting when a start-up business loan can be paid off 3-months before it is due! Being debt free will allow me reinvest profits to build the business rather than pay off liabilities. Good business is a debt-free business.
- Celebrating my 31st birthday on the June 23rd. Jury is out on how I feel about this particular mile marker… I think it’s a good thing… maybe.
- Heading down to St. Louis for another wedding, excited about connecting with one of my best friends from college, who was a teammate, ministry partner, and roommate.
